Wilderness Experience

Wilderness Experience is a program dedicated to supporting youth, grades 6-12, to grow in a relationship with Jesus Christ. Our greatest desire is to help students grow in their understanding of God and mature as they find their value in Christ.

One of the ways we connect with God is by experiencing Him in His creation on camping trips and day excursions. We have been rafting on the Klamath, hiking in Yosemite, rock climbing near Lake Tahoe, swimming under McCloud’s waterfalls, and so much more!

We also encourage students to grow in their relationship with God and others throughout the year at our weekly youth groups. We meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3pm at East Avenue Church (1184 East Ave, Chico, CA 95926).
